The Village of Mogadore is looking to fill a position in our Service/Street Department. The Service/Street employee must perform a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of roads, grounds and structures. Service/Street employees are expected to mow grass, plow snow, trim trees, electrical and plumbing work, repair manholes and catch basins, and tile; maintain signs, assist in loading and unloading transported materials; service and clean equipment. Service/Street employees are expected to operate heavy equipment including but not limited to backhoe, bobcat, dump truck and mowing tractor, including zero turn mower. Service/Street employees are expected to be able to plow snow on roads for up to 12 hours. Service/Street employees must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Excavation of ditches and aerial work in a bucket truck may be required on occasion. Service/Street employees are expected to be able to do concrete and asphalt work.
