FERAL CATS

Due to the increasing problem of feral cats in our neighborhoods, Village Council recently passed legislation to try to help the situation. Summit County Animal Control charges a standard $25.00 surrender fee for each feral cat that someone drops off at their agency. That fee is usually charged in person to whoever surrenders the cat. Our Council has agreed to have Summit County Animal Control bill the Village this $25.00 fee instead of our residents whenever a feral cat is surrendered. Thus, any Mogadore resident, whether you live in Summit or Portage County, will not be charged the surrender fee, if you have proof of residency.
